Five In Five For Osimhen As Onuachu Breaks Goalscoring Duck

The resumption of league activities across Europe after the international break proved fruitful for Super Eagles strikers as the duo of Victor Osimhen and Paul Onuachu found the net for their respective club sides on Friday.

Fresh off scoring his first ever goal for the Super Eagles in the friendly against Ukraine on Tuesday, 20-year old forward Osimhen continued his red hot streak with a fifth goal in as many appearances for French Ligue 1 side Lille in the 2-1 victory over Angers.

The former Wolfsburg and SC Charleroi striker opened the scoring for Lille in the 39th minute and they have now won all three of their home games in the league this season.

He would look to carry his form into the UEFA Champions League (UCL) when Lille come up against last season semifinalists Ajax at the Johan Cruijff Arena on Tuesday

In Belgium, Paul Onuachu opened his account for new club KRC Genk in the Jupiler league in his first start but his 61st minute effort wasn’t enough to prevent his side from slipping to a third straight loss as they fell 2-1 at Royal Charleroi.
