Paris Saint Germain (PSG) forward Neymar has been named in Brazil’s 23-man squad for this summer’s FIFA World Cup in Russia.
Neymar had been a doubt for the tournament as a result of the metatarsal injury he suffered earlier this year but his recent return to light training has prompted his inclusion in Tite’s World Cup squad.
The squad will convene in Brazil on the 21st of May before travelling to London a week later where they will face Croatia at Anfield on the 3rd of June.
Brazil will then face Austria in another World Cup warm up game in Vienna on the 10th of June.
Brazil will touch down in Russia on the 11th of June before their opening World Cup match against Switzerland on the 17th of June.
