Super Eagles Captain Ahmed Musa has returned to Al Nassr ahead of the resumption of the Saudi Arabia Professional League.

Musa was in Nigeria for eight weeks following the unexpected break caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

Al Nassr confirmed the return of the 28-year-old to Riyadz on Twitter.

The Saudi Arabia government had ordered sports activities to cease in the Asian country as of March 15 but lifted the ban on Sunday, June 21, 2020.

Athletes and football clubs can now resume training as the League is expected to resume later in August.

The striker who joined Al Nassr in 2018 has played 17 league games this season and has provided 5 assists. He has scored twice in four matches in the Kings Cup.

Before the coronavirus break, the Najd’s Night were second on the log with 45 points, six points behind leaders Al Hilal.
