Mathias Pogba Exposes Cause of Mourinho’s Fall Out with Paul Pogba

Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, has been defended by his brother Mathias Pogba, accusing Jose Mourinho for issues Paul faced during the Portuguese’s tenure.

Pogba having scored four goals and contributing three assists since Mourinho’s sacking has been defended by Mathias who said Mourinho was the problem at Manchester United because he wanted to be the centre of attention.

The Former Real Madrid coach was fired by the Red Devils after a run of poor performances and a falling out with the club’s prized signing.

Mathias fished Mourinho as the culprit when explaining his brother’s revival at Old Trafford.

Speaking with RMC Sport Mathias said, “The problem was Mourinho, right down the line,”

“In the locker room, outside the locker room…everything, I know my brother, and you tell him, ‘Go. Go play’, the rest, he will do it.

“From what we see of Mourinho, he always wants to be the maestro – the centre of attention.”

“(Paul) does not even calculate that aspect: you respect him, he will respect you, you trust him, he will produce big performances,” Mathias added.

Shortly after Mourinho’s sack, Manchester United appointed Ole Gunnar Solksjaer to serve as caretaker manager until the end of the season, who immediately restored Paul Pogba to the starting line up.
