Super Eagles defender, Leon Aderemi Balogun is still picking positives from his side’s away win in the FA Cup on Saturday, and put it all down to massive support the team got from their fans.
While top-flight clubs like Leicester City and Fulham were knocked out by lower division opponents, Balogun admits it was a huge relief for his side to qualify for the second round with a 3-1 victory away to English Premier League rivals, Bournemouth.

The former FC Mainz player was also excited that it was his debut in the English FA Cup, for which he is equally excited to start 2019 on a glorious note personally and collectively for The Seasiders.
Incidentally, Balogun also got back to full duration action for Brighton in Saturday’s tie, for which he admitted he was also truly delighted.
Balogun added that he was excited with his personal performance on Saturday, as he nullified all The Cherries’ attacking threat, and says he is now looking up to the next round.
Balogun posted on social media: “Happy to start 2019 with a win in my #FACup debut! Loved the support by our fans on to the next round.”
