Manchester United forward Anthony Martial will return to training with the Premier League giants on Thursday.
The 22-year-old confirmed this via his official Twitter handle on Wednesday evening.
He has been severely criticised after his failure to return to Manchester United training.
The French international had taken permission to leave the club’s preseason tour of the United States to attend to his girlfriend Melanie Da Cruz in Paris.
Martial and Da Cruz welcomed their first child together, a baby boy, last week.
According to various reports, he would be fined two weeks wages (£180,000) for returning back to training late.
Anthony Martial’s future with the Red Devils has heightened as a result of this development and he has been linked with other European clubs like Inter Milan, Tottenham Hotspur and many more.
His tweet in French and interpreted into English said: “Thank you for all your messages. My little swan is fine; it was tougher for the mother but thank God she’s better now. Sorry, but my family will always come first…back tomorrow in Manchester.”
