World silver medalist Odunayo Adekuoroye has exclusively revealed to www.busybuddiesng.com why she joined Mumbai Maharathi ahead of the upcoming Indian Pro Wrestling League (PWL) Season 3.

In a chat with www.busybuddiesng.com from the US where she is currently training, the 24-year old disclosed that she joined Mumbai Maharathi because they made the highest bid for her services and as a result, she was mandated to join them.
“The teams usually come together, and the one with the highest bid for you takes you,” the multiple-African Champion explained.”
“It’s not like I decided to go to a particular club (Mumbai Maharathi). The club with the highest bid for you will surely have you.”
Adekuoroye remains the only wrestler to win the PWL, which was instituted in 2015, twice. A feat she achieved while representing Mumbai Garuda and Punjab Royals.
