John Ogu Set To Sign For Asian Club

Super Eagles Midfielder John Ogu is reportedly expected to sign a new contract in Asia.

The former Hapoel Beer Sheva man decided not to renew his contract (which came to an end in May 2019) after spending five years with the Israeli outfit.

Ogu had then stated that his desire for a new challenge elsewhere stopped him from renewing his contract with the Camels.

BusybuddiesNG.com understands the former Almeria player is most likely to sign for a club in any of the Asian countries after being without a club for over seven months.

During his spell at Israel, the 31-year-old won two league cups, one Israeli Toto Cup and one Super Cup.

The defensive midfielder scored 13 goals in 151 appearances for Hapoel Beer Sheva.
