The Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN) has postponed the 2020 Prudent Energy Handball Premier League by one week due to the ongoing #EndSars protests in several parts of the country.
The tournament which was scheduled to hold between 23 October and 7 November 7, will now be staged from 30 October to 14 November 14 at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja the HFN said in a statement.
“For the safety of our players and officials who will be traveling from different part of the country to Abuja for the league, we have decided postpone the league for a week with the hope that everything will come back to normalcy soon,” HFN President Mr. Samuel Ocheho said.
