Defending champions Real Madrid will face German champions Bayern Munich in the semifinal of the UEFA Champions League (UCL) after the draw took place earlier on Friday afternoon.

Bayern will host Real Madrid in the 1st leg at the Allianz Arena on April 25 before the return leg scheduled for the Estadio Santiago Bernebeu on May 1.

Real Madrid and Bayern Munich have both won 17 titles.

In the other semifinal, English giants Liverpool will host giantkillers AS Roma on April 24 before the return leg on May 2.

The UCL final will take place in the city of Kyiv on May 26.
