Falconets Coach Danjuma Unveils World Cup Squad For France 2018

Head coach of Nigeria’s female U20 team, Falconets, Christopher Danjuma has named his final squad ahead of the upcoming FIFA Women’s U20 World Cup tournament in France.

Star striker Rasheedat Ajibade was the standout name on the 21-man list released by Danjuma.

The 18-year-old FC Robo of Lagos star was the joint-topscorer in the African qualifiers with 10 goals.

Ajibade and her teammates are presently on a training tour of Austria as part of preparations ahead of the tournament.

The 21-man list includes three goalkeepers, six defenders, seven midfielders and five strikers.

The tournament is expected to run from August 5 to 24.
