Everton Agree Deal For Barcelona Duo; Sign Bernard

Everton have agreed a deal to sign the Barcelona duo of Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes in addition to sealing a move for Brazilian forward Bernard.

According to Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona, Colombia international defender Yerry Mina will join the Merseyside club on a permanent deal with a buyback option while Andre Gomes will team up with the club on a loan deal.

Both clubs agreed a fee of €30.25m (£27.19m) for Mina, who was hugely influential in helping Colombia reach the last 16 of this year’s FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia.

For Andre Gomes, both clubs agreed a £2m loan fee for the Portuguese midfielder.

The Premier League club are yet to announce the signing of both Mina and Andre Gomes.

The club has, however, announced the transfer of Brazilian forward Bernard who joins on a free transfer free his contract with Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk expired in June.

He has scored once for Brazil in 14 appearances, the last of which came during the 2014 World Cup on home soil.

On his new career move, the 25-year-old said: “Everton is historically the fourth most successful club in England.”
