Ademola Lookman featured for Atalanta who held Sporting Lisbon to a 1-1 home draw in Group D of the Europa League on Thursday.

The result means Atalanta, 11 points, seal top spot with a game to spare.

Sporting Lisbon are on eight points and will end the group phase in second place.

Gianluca Scamacca had given Atalanta the lead in the 23rd minute but Marcus Edwards equalised for Sporting on 56 minutes.

Lookman, who was in the starting 11 was brought off in the 64th minute.

Other results saw West beat TSC Backa Topola, AEK Athens lost 1-0 at home to Brighton, Sparta Prague pipped Betis 1-0 and Rennes hammered Maccabi Haifa 3-0 away.
