Chicharito Debunks West Ham Exit Rumours

West Ham striker Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez has denied rumours that he has asked to exit the capital club.

Widespread reports mainly from his homeland of Mexico had revealed that the former Manchester United star wants to link up with Mexican side Chivas again ahead of the FIFA World Cup in Russia next year.

Hernandez joined the Hammers from Bayer Leverkusen for £16m in July and has now shut down the aforementioned rumours as he claimed that they were “completely false”.

He used his Twitter handle to deny the rumours as he said: “I am 100% committed to helping improve the situation that we are all experiencing in West Ham,” he tweeted.

The 4-goal player in the English Premier League (EPL) this season added that he had not asked to leave “at any time.
