Enyimba have gone to the top of Group C in the CAF Confederation Cup (CAFCC) after they defeated AC Djoliba of Mali 2-0 at the U.J. Esuene Stadium on Sunday evening in what was a Matchday 1 clash.

Isiaka Oladuntoye and Stanley Dimgba (penalty) scored in the second half to give the Aba Elephants the three maximum points at stake.

In the other Group C game, Ivorian side Williamsville also ended the first day of proceedings on the winning side following a 1-0 home win over CARA Brazzaville of Congo.
