CAF Confederation Cup: Eduwo Bags Brace As Club Africain Thrash Rivers United

Kingsley Eduwo scored twice as Club Africain defeated Rivers United 3-0 in their CAF Confederation Cup matchday clash on Wednesday night.

The former Lobi Stars striker opened scoring for the hosts on six minutes after he was set up by Rami Bedoui.

Eduwo added the second goal on the dot of 45 minutes.

Bedoui put the game beyond Rivers United when he scored the third two minutes after the hour mark.

Rivers United dropped to second position in Group C following the defeat.

Club Africain top the log with nine points from four games.

Dreams FC Ghana of occupy second position in the group following their 4-0 home win against Angola’s Academica do Lobito.

Rivers United will travel away to Academica do Lobito for their next game in February, 2024.
