Defending champions, D’Tigers of Nigeria have defeated co-host Senegal 76-71 to reach the 2017 FIBA AfroBasket championship final.

In a keenly contested semi-final game in Tunis, Bryant Mbamalu was Nigeria’s marksman with 19 points while the duo of Ike Iroegbu and captain Ike Diogu provided 18 and 17 points respectively.

Nigeria will now face another co-host Tunisia in the final on Saturday.
