Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored a brace as AC Milan beat city rivals Inter for the first time in four years in the Milan Derby on Saturday.

The 39-year-old Swede who recently recovered from Covid-19 scored from the rebound after his spot kick was saved to give Milan a 13th minute lead.

He doubled his tally three minutes later when he finished smartly after a flowing move.

Ibrahimovic’s former Manchester United teammate Romelu Lukaku pulled one back for Inter in the 29th minute.

Both sides had chances to score in the second half with Lukaku nearly snatching a point in added time but his back heel was straight at Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Milan remain unbeaten with a hundred per cent record and top Serie A while Inter are sixth on the log.
