Boniface Scores As Leverkusen Hold Dortmund To Draw, Maintain Unbeaten Streak

Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface was on target as Bayer Leverkusen held Borussia Dortmund to a 1-1 draw in Sunday’s Bundesliga game, Completesports.com reports.

Leverkusen are the only unbeaten side in Europe’s top five leagues across all competitions so far this season.

In 13 Bundesliga games this season, they have won 11 and drawn two.

Also, they have won 18 and drawn two of their 20 games in all competitions this campaign l.

Bayern and Dortmund are the only teams to take a point off them.

The draw against Dortmund took Leverkusen’s tally to 35 and top on the log, just three points ahead of Bayern Munich.

In Sunday’s clash Dortmund took the lead through Julian Ryerson in the 5th minute before Boniface drew Leverkusen level on 79 minutes.
