BBBofC Confirm Fury’s Hearing As He Edges Closer To A Return

Controversial British boxer Tyson Fury is edging closer to a return to the boxing ring after the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC) confirmed that they have received a request for hearing from Fury’s camp.

Fury has not been involved in a professional fight for the better part of two years with his last boxing match coming against Wladimir Klitschko in 2005.

He defeated Klitschko to become a boxing heavyweight champion.

Confirming the receipt of the request for hearing from Fury’s promoter, Frank Warren, BBBofC general secretary Robert Smith said: “After we last spoke on Tuesday, I received a note from Frank Warren asking for a hearing to get the suspension lifted.”
