Nile University sealed their spot in the final of the ongoing 2021 Total National Division One League with an easy win against Safety Knights of Abuja on day 5 of the competition.

Still unbeaten in the Savannah Conference, the only University team in the league triumphed 74-57 over the Knights in what was a local derby.

Elsewhere, Discovery lost yet again in the Atlantic Conference, this time falling 48-62 to OS Lions while ABU were edged by Yobe Warriors in a gripping game that went down the wire. There was nothing to separate both sides for large parts of the encounter but it was Warriors who held their nerve to carve out a narrow 68-66 points victory.

On Thursday, Ebun Comets will hope to maintain their unbeaten run when they face Coal City Kings in the first game of the day.

Lagos Legends will be looking for another win against Edo Beads who have won three games out of four.
