Kwara Adorable Angels and Benue Queens have both gained promotion into the Prudent Energy Handball Premier and will contest the final in the women’s category of the ongoing National Division One Handball Championship.

Unbeaten Kwara Adorable Angels defeated Delta Force 42-29 in the women’s semifinal at the Murtala Muhammad Square, Kaduna, to book their place in Friday’s final.

In the other semifinal, Benue Queens played the game of their lives to make the final and gain promotion to the top tier with a hairsbreadth 20-19 victory over Confluence Queens.

In the men’s semifinal, Delta Force beat Police Machine by the skin of their teeth in a 25-24 victory to make the final and gain promotion into the Prudent Energy Handball Premier League.

Confluence Stars await in the final after they defeated Bayelsa United 29-16 in the other semifinal fixture game to gain promotion to the top tier.

Meanwhile, Delta Force will play Confluence Queen in the women’s third-place match while Police Machine face Bayelsa United in the men’s third-place match.
