Nigeria international and Girondins de Bordeaux winger Samuel Kalu is currently being scouted by AS Roma.

Kalu joined Bordeaux from only this summer from KAA Gent for €8.5m and has made a strong start in Ligue 1, having scored one goal and provided two assists in nine games.

Reports from Sun News Online say that Roma scouts were spotted in the stands watching Kalu in his team’s match against OG Nice.

With this new development, it seems the 21-year-old won’t spend much time in Bordeaux. However, Roma could face competition from English and Spanish clubs.
