Super Eagles’ stand-in captain, Ahmed Musa has lost his mother in death, he announced today on his official Twitter handle.

Musa’s mother, Sarah Moses had taken ill a few days ago and the forward had taken to his Twitter handle to wish her a quick recovery just yesterday.

The Al Nassr striker, who has a close attachement to his mother lamented at the loss stating “What a sad day of my life…”

The circumstances of the death are yet to be known.
