AFCON 2023: Iheanacho, Onuachu Arrive Super Eagles Camp

Kelechi Iheanacho and Paul Onuachu have arrived the Super Eagles camp as the team prepare for their first game at the AFCON 2023.

According to the Super Eagles media officer, Babafemi Raji, both players arrived 4am on Sunday.

However, both players are not expected to feature in the first game against Equatorial Guinea.

Iheanacho was not part of the team’s training camp in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates due to injury.

On his part, Onuachu was called as a replacement for the injured Umar Sadiq.

Despite just arriving camp on matchday, Iheanacho and Onuachu are on the Super Eagles substitute bench for the game against Equatorial Guinea.

The Eagles are without Wilfred Ndidi, Taiwo Awoniyi and Victor Boniface due to injuries.
