Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun has reportedly been linked with a summer move to the Premier League.

According to popular media outlet ESPN, Brighton and Huddersfield Town are interested in a summer move for the Mainz 05 centre back.

The 29-year old is yet to command a transfer fee when switching clubs as he joined Türkiyemspor, Hannover 96, Werder Bremen, Fortuna Düsseldorf, Darmstadt 98 and Mainz 05 as a free agent.

Leon Balogun is expected to be an important player for the Super Eagles of Nigeria when hostilities begin at this summer’s FIFA World Cup in Russia.
