Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has slammed sportswear manufacturing giants Nike over the poor quality of their boots.

Rudiger used his Instagram account to show the extent of damage caused by the Nike boots he wore during his last game for the Premier League champions.

The poor quality of the Nike boots gave the German a slight injury around the toe area.

Rudiger was the hero for his Chelsea team on Wednesday night as he scored the only goal of the game to help the Stamford Bridge outfit to a 1-0 win over stubborn Swansea City at home.

His goal was enough for Chelsea to consolidate third position while trailing the Manchester clubs closely.
