
England got off to a good start at the ongoing 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup in India after they thrashed South American side Chile 4-0 in Group F in what was a convincing victory.
Callum Hudson-Odoi gave the junior Three Lions a first half lead before highly rated youngsters Jadon Sancho (2) and Angel Gomes added further goals in the second half to make it a comprehensive win for their team.
In Group E, France and Japan recorded big wins over New Caledonia and Honduras respectively to start their campaign on a winning note.
