Wolves Inflict Fourth Consecutive Away League Defeat On Chelsea

Chelsea’s poor form away from home continues after losing 2-1 away to Wolverhampton Wanderers in Sunday’s Premier League.

The Blues have lost four consecutive Premier League away games for the first time in 23 years.

Wolves have won consecutive top-flight matches against Chelsea for the first time since March 1975.

The game saw Blues summer signing Christopher Nkunku open his goals account.

Wolves took the lead in the 51st minute through Mario Lemina before Matt Doherty made it 2-0 on 93 minutes.

Nkunku pulled a goal back for the Chelsea in the 96th minute which was too little too late.

Chelsea are 10th on 22 points while Wolves are 11th also in 22 points in the league standings.
