We are approaching the homestretch in most of Europe’s major leagues and the destination of titles could be decided in several leagues this weekend.
It remains really tight in Spain where it appears no one is keen on grabbing the La Liga title after Barcelona confounded expectations to somehow throw away a lead at the Nou Camp to lose to Granada, a team with the league’s worst defence.
It’s a similar situation in France where the top three are separated by just two points and while PSG appears to have an easy game against Lens, we’ve decided to give them a wide berth because they might be distracted by their midweek trip to Manchester City.
City though won’t be too bothered about resting players for their trip to Crystal Palace, such is their squad depth that the guys who were left out in the win against PSG are sure to start and we think they’ll get the win at the Eagles that hastens their league title triumph.
Inter are also away from home at bottom side Crotone and a win will all but wrap up their first Serie A title in a decade and we believe they’ll get it.
We’ve also backed wins for Tottenham, Borussia Dortmund in the German Cup, PSV, Lille, Napoli, Porto and Ahly while we believe that Celta and Levante will produce a goals fest.
