Waldrum: Super Falcons Must Qualify For 2024 Olympics

Super Falcons head coach, Randy Waldrum says it is important for the team to secure a place at the 2024 Olympics Games in Paris.

The nine-time African champions last qualified for the Olympics in 2008.

The Super Falcons will battle the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon in the third round of the qualifiers.

The first leg encounter will take place at the Stade de la Reunification in Douala on Friday evening.

The reverse fixture is slated for the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja next week Monday.

Waldrum stated that the Super Falcons will fight hard to secure a berth in Paris 2024.

“The goal obviously is to qualify for the Olympics. We can’t look ahead of ourselves and say this is what we want to achieve at the Olympics,”Waldrum told the Super Falcons media team.
