Vandrezzer FC: Nigeria National League Side Set To Relocate Abroad

Nigeria National League side Vandrezzer FC are currently hatching plans to join a league outside the country.

The decision is stemming from an emergency meeting held on Thursday by stakeholders of the club in reaction to the postponement of the NNL.

“In view of the recent indefinite postponement of the NNL resumption for the 2019/2020 league season, Vandrezzer Football Club wishes to announce to our dear fans that all hope is not lost. Currently, plans are underway to engage with another league abroad,” the statement read.

The club is likely to join a championship league in Europe, South America or another country in Africa.

“Consequently, negotiations have commenced via our consultants, with Football Associations of countries in three continents – Africa, Europe, and South America,” the statement read.

The Akwa Ibom based club were 4th with 6 points – four points behind top placed Bendel Insurance –  in Group B2 before the postponement of the League.
