The Super Sand Eagles Squad of 10 players has been named ahead of the COPA Lagos Beach Soccer Tournament in Lagos on Friday.

Audu Adamu Ejor, who is the head coach of the team, also confirmed that the squad named after the conclusion of their Birnin Kebbi camp will represent Nigeria at the CAF Beach Soccer tournament scheduled for Egypt next year.

In his words, he said: “These selected players will represent us at the World Cup qualifiers in Egypt. I have so much hope in them and I’m confident that they will deliver.

“Our performance in COPA Lagos will further reveal to us where we need to work on and improve on.” he added.

The 10-man list include Paul Danjuma (Katsina United), Arome Isah (Sambrin FC Kogi), Victor Tale (Captain) of Kogi United FC, Emmanuel Oweferia and Taiwo Adams (Owibeseb FC Ojo, Lagos).

Others are Ekujumi Eganosi and Emeka Ogbonna Lead UTD FC in Ojo, Lagos) Abu Azeez (Rangers FC Enugu), Suleiman Muhammed (FC IfeanyiUbah) and Bulangi Umar (Kebbi Beach Soccer).

The new players (4) are Muhammed, Umar, Eganosi and Ogbonna.
