Nigeria remained 36th in the latest FIFA Ranking for Women’s national teams released on Friday, September 27.

The Super Falcons maintained their position as Africa’s highest ranked team and consequently, remain the longest number one ranked team in a continent irrespective of gender.

In the last ranking released in July, Nigeria climbed two spots in the world, but remain stagnant in September.

On the African scene, Cameroon, Ghana, South Africa and Ivory Coast trail Nigeria to complete the top five.

The next Women’s World Ranking will be released December, 13 2019.
