Super Sub! Samuel Chukwueze’s Electric Performance Turns Tide for Villarreal in Real Betis Rout

Samuel Chukwueze’s introduction turned the tide for Villarreal in their 5-1 victory over Real Betis on Friday.

For 56 minutes, the Nigeria Super Eagles winger watched from the bench as the visitors kept the game at 1-1.

Chukwueze came on in the second half and justified his nomination for Europe’s Golden Boy Award with a superlative performance that opened the flood gate of goals for the home side.

The opposing defenders could not keep up with Chukwueze’s blistering runs and conceded three goals in quick succession before the year old added to the tally to make it 5-1 in the end.

The youngster has been one of the standout revelations in world football in the 2019/20 season and was nominated on Thursday for the Europe Golden Boy award.
