Seria A 2017/2018 Fixtures: Juventus Starts Title Defence Against Cagliari

Defending champions of the Seria A, Juventus, will kick off their title defence against Cagliari, as the 2017/2018 Seria A season fixtures were released on Wednesday.

The new season, which kicks off on August 20, 2017, will be rounded up earlier than usual on May 20, 2018, to afford the Italian national team enough time to prepare for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

The heavyweight clashes start as early as week 2, as former AS Roma Coach, Luciano Spalleti, takes his new side Inter Milan to Rome to face Roma, before Juventus new boy, Federico Bernardeschi faces his former side, Fiorentina, in week 5.

Newly promoted Hellas Verona starts their 2017/2018 Seria A campaign at home to Napoli, while newcomers, Spal and Benevento travel away to Lazio and Sampdoria respectively in the opening weekend.
