Manchester City earned their first pre-season victory in Los Angeles, crushing Real Madrid 4-1 in the International Champions Cup.
With the first half ending 0-0, City raced to a four-goal lead in the second half, with Nicolás Otamendi smashing the roof of the net from close range in the 52nd minute for the opener.

However, Real Madrid managed to find a consolation goal in the 90th minute, with Oscar Rodriguez’s superb long range effort beating the City goal keeper.

Next up for Manchester City on their pre-season tour will be Tottenham in Tennessee on Saturday, before flying back to Europe to face West Ham in Iceland for the completion of their tour.
