Scotland: Rangers Boss Clement Confirms Balogun’s Injury

Rangers manager, Philippe Clement has revealed Leon Balogun sustained an injury in the club’s 4-1 win against Kilmarnock on Sunday.

Balogun started the game and was replaced at half-time by Ben Davies.

Clement hinted that the 35-year-old was substituted because of injury.

“Yes he was injured that is why I had to replace him. I hope it is a small muscle injury,” Clement was quoted by Rangers Review.

“We will see in the next couple of days. But he struggled too much to continue.”

The injury could derail Balogun’s chances of getting a new contract at the Ibrox.
