Sarri Steps Down As Lazio Manager

Lazio manager, Maurizio Sarri has resigned from his position following Monday’s 2-1 home defeat to Udinese.

TMW says Sarri did not receive the right feedback from the team after yesterday’s defeat against Udinese.

Sarri informed the squad he would be offering his resignation and their silence was enough to lead him to make the drastic decision.

The players did not oppose his farewell, but they also did not insist on him staying and for this reason Sarri has decided to push to leave.

The 65-year-old has been in control of the Biancocelesti reins since the summer of 2021, during which time he has taken charge of 137 matches, but his side are on a dire run of form.
