Sampaoli Praises Chelsea Star Moses Ahead Of Eagles Clash

Argentina coach Jorge Sampaoli has singled out Chelsea star Victor Moses as one of Super Eagles’ most important players ahead of the crucial Group D clash on Tuesday night.
Nigeria and Argentina meet in an all-important match that will go a long way in deciding who qualifies for the knockout stage at the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Russia.
Sampaoli was speaking with reporters ahead of the game.
In his words, he said: “Nigeria is a national team that play with two different formations, with Croatia almost a 4-3-3, now they are playing with almost 5-3-2.”
”We have faced them and played them with two styles and formations. They have very relevant players with a lot of experience such as Moses and the team in the second half of the matches they tend to make the difference from the physical standpoint, and they tend to play from box to box.
”That makes them a very difficult opponent if you can’t dominate the game, so for for us Argentina we will have to control the game.” He concluded.
Former Chile and Seville coach Sampaoli has been under a lot of criticisms following his team’s disappointing World Cup C
campaign with reported player mutiny to boot.
However, a win against three-time champions Nigeria could secure a place in the knockout stage for the Argentines.
