Real Madrid have completed the signing of Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic for a reported €60 million.
The 21-year-old will play at the Bernabéu for the next six seasons.
The Serbian striker has been lethal in front of goal for Eintracht Frankfurt this season, scoring 27 goals in 47 matches.
Ten of those helped Frankfurt to a semifinal place in the Europa League where they were eliminated by Chelsea on penalties.
Jovic started his career with Red Star Belgrade, he joined Portuguese side Benfica as a teenager, and had been on loan at Frankfurt since 2017, until the deal was made permanent last month.
Real Madrid are set for a massive rebuild following a disastrous season, and Jović’s arrival looks to be the beginning of that process.
Madrid already have an agreement to sign Brazilian center-back Eder Militao from Porto, while negotiations are already ongoing with Chelsea over a deal for Belgian star Eden Hazard.
