Nigeria football stars Victor Osimhen and Asisat Oshoala have made the final shortlists for the 2023 Globe Soccer Awards.

Osimhen and Oshoala were included in the final shortlists in the men and women categories respectively which was announced by the organizers on their X Tuesday, 12 December 2023.

Osimhen will contest this year’s award with Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham and Erling Haaland in the final 11.

Also, other top football stars in the final shortlist include Kevin De Bruyne, Mohamed Salah, Karim Benzema, Vinicius Junior and Bernardo Silva.

In the women’s category, Oshoala is among the 10 finalists shortlisted for the award.

The Super Falcons and Barcelona striker picked up her sixth CAF women’s Player of the Year award.

Meanwhile, among other categories are Best Emerging Player, Best Goalkeeper, Best Midfielder, Best Coach, Best Club (men and women), Fans Favourite Player, Best Agent and Best
