Kenneth Omeruo has nominated Super Eagles teammate Ademola Lookman for the 2024 CAf Player of the Year award.
Lookman was the hero for Atalanta as he bagged a hat-trick in Atalanta’s 3-0 win against Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League final on Wednesday.
He becomes the first-ever player to score a hat-trick in the Europa League final.
His goals helped Atalanta land a first major trophy since 1963 and also a first European title.

Lookman’s hat-trick took his goals in all competitions to 15 this season.

Lookman was impressive for the Super Eagles as his three goals helped the team to the AFCON final where they lost 2-1 to hosts Côte d’Ivoire.
