NPFL: Sunshine Stars Floor Plateau United, Tornadoes Win Away

Sunshine Stars continued their impressive run under head coach Kennedy Boboye courtesy of a 3-1 victory against Plateau United in Jos.

Ibrahim Yusuf scored the curtain raiser for the home team in the 28th minute.

The Owena Waves doubled their advantage through Sadiq Ibrahim nine minutes before the break.

Albert Hilary reduced the deficit for Plateau United on 58 minutes.

Ibrahim however made the points save with his second of the game two minutes from time.

At the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt, Rivers United rallied to hold Kano Pillars to a 1-1 draw.

Pillars went in front through Abba Adam in the 23rd minute, while Sunday Williams equalised for the home team five minutes after the break.

Ikechukwu Nwani scored the decisive goal as Niger Tonardoes recorded a 1-0 away win against Bayelsa United
