NPFL: Remo Stars Officially Unveil Kennedy Boboye as New Coach Amidst Controversies

Remo Stars Football Club have officially unveiled Kennedy Boboye as their new coach following the resignation of Fatai Osho.

At a press conference held at the Gateway International Stadium on Friday, the former Sunshine Stars boss was presented to the fans and the media as the Sky Blues new manager.

Contrary to earlier reports that the former coach did not want to play second fiddle to Boboye hence his resignation, goal.com reports that the 45-year-old was hired to serve as Technical Consultant to the club but Osho’s resignation opened up the opportunity for him to be named manager due to his wealth of experience managing top Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) clubs and even the national team.

Boboye, who won the League with Plateau United has reportedly signed a one year deal with the Sagamu based club.

Remo Stars will begin their campaign on Matchday 3 when they welcome Bendel Insurance to the Otunba Dipo Dino International Stadium in Sagamu, Ogun State.
