Newcastle Must Consider Europa League –Pardew

Former Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has told his former club that playing in the Europa League could be an opportunity to remain in European competition.

Recall that the Magpies are still in the Champions League group stages and in with a chance to progress with one game to go.

However, Pardew in a chat with TalkSports, believes that after the team’s 1-1 draw against PSG, even finishing third may be a decent outcome for their first Champions League campaign in decades.

“If I were Eddie Howe, I’d have one eye on that Europa League spot as well. You want to continue the journey for the fans.
