Mikel Obi, who is now “without a club” has been listed on the market for €3.5 million after he cost Chinese club Tianjin Teda €11 million, according to Transfermarkt.com

The Super Eagles captain has been listed as clubless since Thursday, January 3, 2019.

The 31-year-old midfielder joined Tianjin Teda in January 2017 on a three-year contract as a free agent and so his contract has been terminated with a year to spare.

Last season, the former Chelsea star’s appearances were limited due to injuries as his Chinese Super League side only escaped relegation on the last day of the season.

As at 2013 while still at Chelsea, Mikel was valued on the transfer market at
€23 million.
