Suárez netted the opening goal in the 33rd minute with an own goal to the delight of the home supporters.

The host extended their lead in the 45th minute through Becker to take the game beyond the reach of Las Palmas.

The victory means Real Sociedad sit sixth on 54 points while Las Palmas sit 14th on 37 points in the league standing.
