Levante have eased their relegation worries in the Spanish La Liga after they moved seven points clear with a hard fought win over Eibar at home in a Matchday 29 clash played on Friday night.

Roger gave Levante a first half lead before Charles levelled proceedings for the visitors with 18 second half minutes gone only for the hosts to score what proved to be the winning goal one minute later courtesy Ghanaian star Emmanuel Boateng.

The 2-1 victory takes Levante, in 17th spot, to 27 points and seven points clear of Las Palmas (20 points) who occupy the last relegation place on the league table.
