Nadal Beats Thiem To Win Record-Extending 11th French Open Title

World number one Rafael Nadal has won a record-extending 11th French Open title after he defeated Dominic Thiem of Austria in the final on Sunday.

The Spanish top defeated Thiem 6-4 6-3 6-2 to become the first player to win 11 titles at Roland Garros.

An elated Nadal while speaking after his victory disclosed that he’s still surprised at his Roland Garros feat.

In his words, the 32-year-old said: “It’s amazing, I can’t describe my feelings because it’s not even a dream to win here 11 times. It’s impossible to think something like this.”
